Overview

The compact telehandler

The compact Weidemann telehandlers are unique in the combination of lift height, width and machine capacity. With the 4 wheel drive and all-wheel steering, you are absolutely stable and well equipped for many different tasks. Those who drive a Weidemann telehandler simply will no longer give it up.

The Weidemann benefits at a glance

All-wheel steering, low centre of gravity and excellent stability
Thanks to the all-wheel steering and the undivided frame, Weidemann telehandlers are particularly manoeuvrable and very stable. The low centre of gravity of the machine also supports the stability.

Driver assistance system vls (Vertical Lift System)
The VLS (Vertical Lift System) makes a fluid working principle possible and, through a partially automated telescoping movement, supports the work in a complex operating environment. Due to the nearly vertical lifting or lowering movement, the stability of the machine is improved. The vls has proven itself well in the area of agriculture and our innovation received several international awards.

Sturdy telescopic boom and enormous lift height
The telescopic arm is designed to be sturdy and stable and is placed in the centre of the machine, which causes little distortion. The parallel guidance takes place hydraulically. The sliding components in the inner tube of the telescopic arm are maintenance-free. All important hydraulic lines are ideally protected against external influences. With our compact Weidemann telehandlers, you reach amazing lift heights with the best stability and compact dimensions.

High pushing power from planetary axle
The drive via the planetary axle increases the torque on the wheel and thereby improves the pushing power. Due to the optimal ratio between the pushing power and machine capacity, you work flexibly and economically at the same time.

100% connectable differential lock
If necessary, the up to 100% connectable differential lock offers you maximum traction pushing power and keeps the tyre wear low (switched off during normal operation).

Large selection of tyres
The optimal tyres for every subgrade: you have a wide selection of different tyres available for your Weidemann.

Large selection of attachment tools
Use your machine as a multi-tool – you have a wide selection of attachments available for your Weidemann.

Compact dimensions in the 2 x 2 metre class
Telehandlers from Weidemann are built extremely compactly. The width and height of all machines are each below 2 meters. This is why our telehandlers are also ideal for application in confined areas and therefore are unique in their combination of lift height, width and machine capacity.

Small inner radius
All telehandlers in our series, from the T4108 to the T6027, have particularly small inside radii. The manoeuvrability also achieved in this way makes the machines into all-rounders at every application site.

Quick and easy tool change
Thanks to the hydraulic quickhitch system, attachments can be easily and conveniently exchanged. In this way, your machine is again ready for application at once. This increases productivity and raises efficiency. The exchange of the attachment takes place through 2-hand operation, which makes an unwanted change impossible – safety always comes first at Weidemann!

Three types of steering for maximum flexibility
All-wheel steering
Front axle steering
Crab steering
Full manoeuvrability and power development in the smallest space. For safe driving, even at higher speeds. Sideways driving for ultra-precise manoeuvring in tight spaces, such as for shift work on walls.

Optimum ease of servicing
Easy-to-open engine hood – The engine hood with gas compression springs can be opened upward with just one handle for regular service and maintenance work. The hydraulic oil tank, air cleaner, engine oil filling, oil-level dipstick and coolant are therefore easily and quickly accessible – a real added comfort.

A working area that motivates
Comfortable cabin and good circumferential visibility
The spacious cabin meets the current European machine directive (2006/42/EC) according to ROPS and FOPS protection and offers a great deal of headroom and freedom of movement. Due to the complete glazing, the operator has an excellent circumferential visibility of the entire working area.

Ergonomic working area
More spaciousness in a cab that was designed and developed according to the latest findings in safety technology and ergonomics. Plenty of legroom, clearly arranged instrument clusters, a comfortable operator’s seat and an optimal visibility of the attachment. A working area that motivates and fully supports the operator.

Good visibility to the right
The visibility to the right is often insufficient with many telehandlers. With Weidemann, this is guaranteed through the large-sized right window, the low positioning of the telescopic arm and the steeply sloping engine hood. In this way, you always have an optimal visibility of the area to the right of the machine and of the right mirror.

Good visibility of the freight
A telehandler’s advantages come into play when it comes to stacking the freight high or picking it up. The visibility upward is also crucial in order to securely place the load at a great height. With Weidemann telehandlers, the cabin and pane are designed so that the operator always has the freight in visibility, even at maximum lift height.

Ergonomic joystick – everything in one hand
Perfect control of the machine and functions via a joystick of the latest generation. The innovative joystick with ergonomically arranged, illuminated touch controls creates user friendliness and multi-functionality.

Easy entry
With one step, you can get into the machine’s cabin comfortably. The low design of less than 2 metres and associated low entry height make this possible. Where clearance heights do not play a crucial role, a cabin raised by 12 cm is optionally available. This improves the clear arrangement and circumferential visibility for the operator.

Adjustable steering column
The steering column can be individually adjusted according to the operator’s requirements. This ensures that every operator can work with the machine ergonomically and fatigue-free.

Recoil Starter
The hydraulic motor and pump are designed so that the airflow of the fan can be reversed (reverse possibility). The dirt accumulation on the intake surfaces of the engine hood are simply blown away at the push of a button in the cabin. This protects the machine against damage from overheating and avoids additional exiting from the vehicle.

Pressure release of 3rd control circuit
The knob for pressure release of the 3rd control circuit is easily accessible from the outside on the telescopic arm. Hydraulically operated attachments can therefore be replaced faster and more efficiently. This works even with the ignition switched on or the engine running.

Automatic bucket return
By pressing the corresponding touch button on the joystick, the position of the attachment and telescopic arm can be saved. During the next loading process, the attachment can thus be brought back to exactly the same position. This works from the bottom up as well as from the top down. The automatic bucket return thus offers extra comfort and speed for the operator for recurring work, such as stacking with pallet forks or when filling bins with a fixed height or rim wall with a bucket.

Hydraulic oil volume adjustment
With the “jog dial” control element, the flow volume of the hydraulics can be manually set if necessary. This is advantageous if the machine is operating a hydraulic attachment that does not require the full hydraulic performance of the machine. The operator can therefore work precisely and in a resource-saving manner with a machine and attachment.

Brake-inch pedal
The hydrostatic 4 wheel drive is combined with the brake pedal for Weidemann machines. By “inching”, this makes it possible to crawl until the travelling operation comes to a standstill. With the partially depressed brake-inch pedal, you can drive slowly in the crawler gear at full engine speed precisely to the millimetre and at the same time lift quickly. If the pedal is pressed further, the machine is braked. The advantage of the brake-inch pedal lies in the optimal power-output distribution of the engine output. In addition, it is not possible to stall the machine.

New exhaust emission standard level IIIB — new engine technology
We at Weidemann have already successfully completed stages I to IIIA for pollutant reduction in recent years. However, new, stricter thresholds are waiting in stages IIIB and IV (tier 4 interim and tier 4 final) to be met. However, since we would like to adapt our machines to the changed legal situation and want to continue to develop our machines, we have put a great deal of development work and know-how into the new machine types.

Digital display
The most important functions always in sight. With the digital display, for the first time the active features are displayed in the operator’s compartment, for example the activated differential lock or electrical functions.

The Weidemann diagnostic and analysis system wedias
The sometimes drawn-out search for hidden errors belongs to the past. With the new machine models, the Weidemann diagnostic and analysis system wedias is used to now quickly and clearly evaluate many features, such as the driving function, telescoping function, the 3rd and 4th control circuit, engine data as well as electrical functions. Error messages in the display immediately notify the operator of possible errors and make a rapid response possible. Thanks to the exact designation of the error number, the dealer can come to the machine prepared and with the right spare parts. The subsequent error analysis by the trained dealer simplifies further diagnosis and troubleshooting enormously. This saves time, money and nerves.
