Even ground pressure: The mower is suspended by two strong flat coil springs, or by three springs on conditioning machines. The VOLTO range offers working widths from 4.50 m to 13.0 m that are matched to the appropriate swath widths of the preceding DISCO or CORTO mowers. This prevents the mowed swaths from being driven over in spite of the maximum surface area performance, resulting in clean tedding, which is essential for high-quality hay and silage.
In addition to the three-point tedders, CLAAS offers a wide range of trailed VOLTOs with working widths up to 13.0 m. As a result, even the smallest tractors can be used to pull these powerful VOLTO tedders. High-performance for farms with their own machinery.

Adjustment
• Infinitely hydraulically adjustable working width from 8.0 m to 9.0 m, readable from a scale at the rotor arm.
Transport
• Ability to reduce the transport height to 4 m by hydraulically lowering the rotors in their folded state without leaving the cab.
• The machine has a low centre of gravity due to the rotors being telescopically retracted downwards in their transport position and consequently more stable handling, even at higher speeds up to 50 kph.
• Scale on the central tube of the chassis for setting the working height.
